The text on the pentacle—written in Latin and a sacred alphabet—is a translation of the principle "As Above, So Below" (meaning that which exists "above"—in the spiritual realm or within our soul—is mirrored "below," in the physical world).
This embodies the very Principle of Incarnation and Manifestation, as the two are inextricably linked.
